Rental conditions
Arrival, departure and minimum stay
Arrival: Daily. Minimum stay of 7 nights. Check in: From 3.00 pm. Check out on day of departure: until 12.00 am. In some cases it is possible to check out later. You should arrange this in consultation with the administrator.
Cancellation
The tenant can always cancel or change the reservation for urgent reasons. The renter should be informed about it in writing.
Cancellation costs:
- Cancellation until 50 days before arrival: 50% of the rent
- Cancellation from 50st day before arrival: Entire rent
- In case the reservation is changed or in case the tenant is replaced:
€ 65,00 administration costs is charged.
Administration
An administrator takes care of the house. The administrator welcomes the tenant and will guide you to your house and will explain everything to you. The administrator is your contact persons for all your questions and/or problems. In consultation with the tenant the administrator will agree a time for the final check on the day of departure.
Cleaning
Twice a week the house is cleaned and provided with fresh towels. For a small fee this can take place more often, in consultation with the administrator.
Damage to house and/or inventory
Damage to the bungalow or its inventory, caused by the tenant and/or co-tenants will be charged. Possible damage should be reported directly, or at least before departure, to the administrator.
Various
We strongly advise you not to leave valuables unattended in the house. The house has a safe. You can make free use of it. The renter can never be held liable for theft from the house and its surrounding area. Although we will try to carry out necessary maintenance when the house is not occupied, it might occur that urgent activities must take place. The renter will try to reduce these activities as much as possible. In case of activities, the tenant is not entitled to rent reduction. Children until 18 years old may only stay in the house accompanied by an adult. has no right. No more persons allowed than the number of beds available.
Use of air conditioning and water
We strongly advise you to use air conditioning only when necessary: not in the bedrooms by day, when the windows are open or when you are not at home. Unnecessary use of air conditioning causes a high electricity consumption. Water is rather expensive on Curaçao, as it must be extracted from sea water. Therefore, we kindly request you to use the water sparingly. In this way you will help the environment and our own wallet.
Swimming pool
The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. It is not allowed to dive. Look out on the terrace and pool terrace when wet. The swimming pool is only meant for swimming. Rinsing out surfer’s/diver’s wetsuits is not allowed. We assume you are showered before going into the pool.
Smoking
Smoking in the house is not allowed. You may smoke outside in the garden or on the terrace. Please, in connection with drought and wind, make sure cigarettes are well-extinguished and please use ashtrays.
Vandalism
Physical or verbal abuse, disturbance and/or vandalism or any other undesirable behaviour against other occupants, tenants and/or employees is not tolerated and will lead to removal from the park.
Visit
In order to avoid nuisance on the park, the following is not allowed:
- More than 4 visitors
- More than 2 cars per house
- Organizing/holding parties
- After 0.00 pm: absolute rest on the park
- Use of drugs in and around the house.
- Villapark “The Pearl” is a park with an entrance gate. At arrival tenants will receive an access card, which is strictly personal and may not be handed to others.
